At Trail Armor, we work hard to get your order processed, packed, and on its way as quickly as possible. This Trail Armor shipping policy covers everything you need to know about how we ship, what to expect after placing an order, and how to handle any issues with your delivery.
How Long Will It Take to Receive My Order?
Our normal skid plate shipping time is usually 3 to 5 business days once an order is placed. This processing window allows our team to assemble vehicle-specific hardware kits, such as our powder-coated hinges and rotary door latches, and perform a final quality inspection before your order leaves our facility.
You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order has been processed for shipment. Once your tracking number is issued, you can follow your shipment's progress directly through the link provided in your confirmation email.
During high-volume periods such as holidays or peak riding season, processing times may be slightly extended. We will notify you if this affects your order.
What Carrier Do You Use for Shipping?
Trail Armor uses UPS Ground as our primary carrier for all domestic shipments within the United States. Our shipping department operates on a standard business schedule, fulfilling orders Monday through Friday.
Because our high-performance polymer skid plates are designed in jointed sections, they are parcel-ready and ship via standard UPS Ground. This allows us to deliver even our largest protection sets without the need for a freight line or truck delivery.
Do You Offer Free Shipping?
Free shipping is not currently a standard delivery option at Trail Armor. Free shipping may be offered periodically as part of a sale or promotion. Please check our website or sign up for our emails to stay informed about any upcoming offers.
Can You Ship to a PO Box or Military Address?
UPS Ground requires a physical street address for all deliveries. We are unable to ship to PO Boxes or military addresses, including APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.
If a PO Box is provided at checkout, your order will be held until we can contact you for a valid street address. Please note this will delay your shipment, so we recommend providing a physical address at the time of purchase.
Do You Ship Internationally or to Canada?
For all international shipments, duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the shipping costs paid to Trail Armor. These fees are assessed by the destination country at the time of import and are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Any assessed fees will be collected as COD (Cash on Delivery) by the carrier upon delivery.
Please note that refusing an international delivery due to customs fees will result in a 50% restocking fee. Both original and return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund in these cases.
For shipments to Canada, we primarily use UPS Standard. We can also check USPS rates upon request to compare pricing and potentially reduce administrative handling fees.
What Should I Do If My Order Arrives Damaged or Incomplete?
Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery. Cross-reference all items against the included hardware bolt pack to confirm your order is complete.
If anything is missing or damaged, here is what to do:
- Retain all original packaging materials
- Take clear photographs of the exterior box and the contents
- Contact Trail Armor in writing within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date
Claims submitted after the 14-day window may not be eligible for coverage, and replacement items may need to be purchased at the customer's expense.
What Happens If I Refuse a Delivery or Need to Return My Order?
Standard returns initiated within 14 days of delivery are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refusing a delivery without prior written agreement from Trail Armor will result in a 50% restocking fee. Both the original outbound shipping and the return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
