Warranty Policy

Material Defects Coverage (1 Year)

All Trail Armor products (excluding windshields) are warranted to be free from material defects for one year from the date of purchase. If your product has a material defect within this period, please contact us and we will work with you toward a resolution.

Manufacturing Defects Coverage (30 Days)

Trail Armor products are warranted against manufacturing defects for thirty days from the date of purchase. A manufacturing defect is defined as an error that occurs during the manufacturing process which causes the product to depart from its intended design.

What Is Not Covered by Warranty

Our products are designed to minimize underbody damage during off-road riding. They are not indestructible. The following are not covered under our Trail Armor warranty policy:

  • Trail hazards and damage that occur as a result of normal off-road riding
  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Damage caused by improper installation or misuse

If you break a component during riding, replacement pieces are available for purchase.

Return Policy

Return Eligibility Requirements

If you change your mind about a product, you may return your order within fourteen calendar days of delivery, starting from the day you receive the goods. To be eligible under our Trail Armor return policy, the following conditions must be met:

  • Product must be unused and in its original, uninstalled condition
  • All original packaging material and hardware must be intact
  • Product must be in good, resellable condition as a new product
  • A copy of your receipt and the reason for return must be provided

How to Start a Return (Step by Step)

  1. Contact Trail Armor within fourteen calendar days of delivery
  2. Provide your receipt and reason for return
  3. Request a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from Trail Armor
  4. Package your item securely using the original packaging
  5. Ship the item back using a trackable carrier, insured at the purchase value

Please note: an RMA number does not imply or guarantee a replacement or refund of the item.

Return Shipping Requirements

  • All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer
  • Items must be shipped via a trackable carrier
  • Items must be insured at the full purchase value
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

If you received free or shared shipping on your original order, you will not be credited for any shipping charges that would have applied.

Restocking Fees and Deductions

A 20% restocking fee will automatically be deducted from your refund to cover reboxing and repackaging costs. If Trail Armor needs to repowdercoat, repair, or replace any items due to poor packaging or loss during return shipping, an additional fee will be applied. This fee will be proportional to the repair or replacement required and will be deducted from your refund.

Non-Returnable Items (Special Orders and Electronics)

The following items are not eligible for return under our Trail Armor refund policy:

  • Electronic items
  • Special orders, including requested design changes and one-off products
  • Colored products
  • Graphic products

Refused Delivery Policy

Refusal to accept delivery of products ordered, without prior written agreement from Trail Armor, will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Both the original outbound shipping and the return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Refund Processing and Timeline

Once the returned item is received and its condition verified, your refund will be processed via the original payment method. Please allow reasonable processing time after we confirm receipt and the condition of the returned item.

Returns will not be accepted after the fourteen calendar day window cited above.

Missing or Damaged Items Policy

How to Inspect Your Delivery

To ensure a smooth delivery experience, inspect all shipments promptly upon delivery. Check the condition of the outer packaging and confirm that all components are present using the included bolt pack as a reference.

How to Document Damage or Shortages

If your shipment arrives damaged or you suspect damage has occurred during transit:

  • Retain all original packaging materials
  • Take clear photographs of the exterior packaging
  • Take clear photographs of the contents and any visible damage

This documentation is required to support a damage claim with the carrier and must be available upon request.

How to Report a Missing Item Claim

To report a Trail Armor missing item or damaged shipment, contact us in writing with the following:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the missing or damaged item
  • Clear photographs of packaging and contents (where applicable)

14-Day Reporting Deadline

All missing or damaged item claims must be reported to Trail Armor in writing within fourteen days of confirmed delivery. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for coverage, and replacement items may need to be purchased at the customer's expense.

We encourage you to contact us as promptly as possible so we can work toward a timely resolution.

Windshield Warranty Policy

CoolFlo Windshields are covered under a separate warranty provided by Rockin' A Interiors Inc. Hardware, fasteners, and all components (excluding polycarbonate panels) are covered for one year. Polycarbonate windshield panels are covered for three years. Coverage is subject to proper installation, cleaning, and use.
