As soon as I got my [****] I knew I wanted to get some A-arm guards. I have had aluminum A-arm guards in the past on my 09 Grizzly 700. They offered good boot protection, but were heavy, and got scarred up and stained in no time. I chose the ones from Trail Armor. They are made of 1 /2" super tough polymer and offer 3 sided CV boot protection. They are definitely good looking and appear to be pretty heavy duty. Everything was well packaged with the instructions and parts, and parts list. All parts were checked and verified by Stephanie at TA..
Install was pretty easy for the most part. On the front you must remove the anemic CV boot guards before installing the TA ones. First up is to install a vibration dampening clamp with a TRP cushion over the rear most A-arm closest to the CV boot. Next the TA guards use 3 factory install welded nuts and supplied bolts to complete the front guard install.
The rears use 2 factory welded nuts and supplied bolts and then 2 supplied bolts and nuts that go in holes in the A-arms.
I used anti seize on all factory nuts, The TA nuts are nylock, The only thing I could see as a possible issue is there are no provisions for mud and water to drain.

Great product. very sturdy and secure coverage around A arms. Tight fit to install, so I raised frame and suspension on front that I was working on and they went on without any major difficulty on front. Rear was easy to assemble.
