Trail Armor's Bash Plate for the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX2, RMAX4 Compact and RMAX4 replaces the thin factory bash plate once you've destroyed it! Made from our 1/2" skid material with cut outs for the winch and drain holes for front differential, this bash plate is the upgrade you will be looking for after your first ride. Maintains full function of tie down point and can be used with or without out Trail Armor skid plates. Not intended to work with any other aftermarket skids.  All kits come with corrosion resistant hardware and photo-documented installation instructions. Installation videos, if available, are provided as a YouTube video on our site. A-Arm guards and skid plate if shown installed in pictures are not included with this product but are sold separately. See part numbers TA011ARMIMP-YW-RMAX4, TA011ARMIMP-YW-RMAX2, TA012FULLSKID-YW-RMAX4 and TA012FULLSKID-YW-RMAX2. Colors are not matched to any OEM graphic package. Colors are considered a special order and are non-returnable. There is no engraving on this product.  Tricolor picture is to show the effect of the contrasting colors. This product will fit only those  year models listed in the "ALSO FITS" chart in the gallery.

    Great product, trouble installing

    I found the quality of the skid guard to be very high, however there were two issues with the fit. The first was the steel backing plate, two holes didn’t line up with the factory holes in the frame, I had open the up a size or 2 to get it to fit. The second issue was the plastic guard was over bent and wouldn’t fit the frame. It required me to heat it and straighten it in a vise. Once I got the bend adjusted it went on easy. Despite the installation issues I’d recommend the guards to others.

    Hi there, We just fixed the steel backing plate issue on the 2025 RMAX4 that was in the shop. Holes are now slotted to ensure alignment with factory holes. Thanks for bringing that to our attention! We slightly overbend to offset any undue pressure placed on the product during shipping. Its much easier for an overbend to relax rather than tighten up an underbend. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for choosing Trailarmor.com!
